KingpinX.

National emergency make-safe and building response. With a network behind it.

Make-safe on site, a same-day causation report, and the tradies who get there. Built by a registered builder, a licensed plumber and a software engineer — one team, on the tools and behind them.

Make-safe jobs come to your phone with the price already on them. Accept the ones that suit your day. We invoice the insurer, not you — and you're paid on our terms, not theirs.

Who's behind it ↓
KingpinX

We built this because we lived it.

Seventy-five years between us on the other side of this problem — Michael under the sink, Brad rebuilding the house, Chris building the systems. We watched a 3am burst pipe pass from call centre to subcontractor to claims administrator until the facts were gone. The trade knew what happened. The insurer found out a week later.

So we built it. KingpinX makes the property safe, writes the causation report on site the same day, and runs the tradie network and the platform that get someone there — one owner for every step, nationally.

02 · Emergency response & make-safe
Kingpin ER.

Tradies who live in your community.

Kingpin ER is our trade network — local tradies we engage directly, not work farmed out to the lowest bidder. Every tradie is vetted, insured and licence-checked before a single job goes to them.

Burst pipes drive the volume. Storm ingress, structural make-safe and damaged services are covered too.

Licence + ABN verified Public liability tracked to expiry WWCC & police check SWMS signed before work starts
01Incident Burst, leak or impact. The event is reported by an insurer, a builder or the homeowner.
02Response Nearest vetted tradie geolocated and dispatched, measured against their own service radius.
03Make-safe Water isolated at the mains, hazards controlled, the site secured and the damage stopped where it stands.
04Mitigation Damage contained and capped — extraction, drying, protection — so the loss stops growing while the claim runs.
05Reporting Evidence captured on site becomes the ZDR™ and lands with the insurer the same day.
06Next action Scope, quote and approved repair flow from the same job file. Nothing re-keyed, nothing lost in a handover.
03 · The Zero Day Report
ZDR™.

Written on site. Signed by the tradie who was there.

The tradie who attended writes the ZDR™ on site — photos, timeline, findings, costings and a full audit trail — then reviews it and signs it before they leave. It reaches the insurer the same day.

Nothing is written up afterwards. There is no "we'll get the report to you next week".

01Loss occursThe event happens and the job opens in Mesh with its claim reference attached.
02Site attendanceThe tradie attends. The report starts writing itself the moment they arrive.
03Evidence capturedGuided capture — timestamped photos, moisture readings, GPS, cause observations, safety sign-off.
04AssessmentSource of loss, extent, affected areas and required scope, recorded on site by the person standing in it.
05ZDR™ generatedDrafted on site by the tradie who attended, then reviewed and signed by them before they leave.
06DeliveredIn the insurer's inbox the same day, against the same claim reference. Nothing re-keyed.

Page one of the ZDR™ — exactly what lands in the insurer's inbox

What is ZDR, and why it's different.

What is it?

The single closeout document for an emergency attendance — cause, extent, evidence, timeline, scope and cost, in one file against one claim reference.

Why is it different?

It isn't written after the fact. The tradie who stood in the room writes it there and signs it, so what you read is what they saw — not what someone remembered on Friday.

What do I receive?

An email. Claim-referenced, insurer-ready, with the photos and audit trail attached. No portal to log into, no export, no integration project.

Why does same-day matter?

Reserves are set on information you don't have yet. Get the facts on day zero and reserves release earlier, scope disputes shrink, and time-to-resolution drops.

01 · The platform behind the network
KingpinMesh™.

The brains behind the network.

A job arrives by email from an insurer, a builder or a homeowner. The technology does the heavy lifting — it reads the job, pins the address and flags anything missing. Then a person on our team checks it and approves it before it goes anywhere. Only then does it reach the nearest vetted tradies, with the price on it. First to accept attends.

01 Job enters Any email, any format. It's read automatically, the job opens and the address is pinned. Missing details get a reply straight back.
02 Technology routes it A person approves every job before it goes anywhere. Then SMS and push — 20 km, then 40 km, then the whole network.
03 Trade responds First to accept attends and makes safe, with guided photos, readings and sign-off.
04 Outcome captured The report fills in on site and reaches the insurer that day. Quote to invoice off the same file.

The dispatch console.

Every live job and every trade on one board — who's closest, who's accepted, who's on site, moving on the map as their phones report in. And the team isn't only our own tradies: any verified trade can take a job from an SMS and a web link, with nothing to install.

What the coordinator sees

Storms make the news. Leaks make the loss ratio.

Escape of liquid is the biggest non-catastrophe claim line in every Australian home book. Every event caught early is one that never reaches the loss ratio — and the effect compounds as more of the book runs on the network.

Where it sits today: Mesh, ER and ZDR™ are live and taking real jobs. AquaSentinel is built and staged to launch once that foundation is proven at scale — the next stage of the same network, not a new system to integrate.

Launching next
aqua sentinel

A 42 mm adhesive-mount sensor under the sink — five-year battery, two-minute install. When it trips, the job enters the same way an insurer email does: checked by a person, then out to the nearest trade. More work, from the same network.
